BlueGreen is a brand identity created for a client who needed a visual language to solidify their expertise among new and existing clients as an independent ecologist.
This project had a business centred objective, where the client needed a brand identity that showed their credibility and position as a specialist in their field. The brief was to find a solution that communicated professionalism in order to succeed in gaining trust and authority in their industry.
It needed to be a solution which also communicated the meeting of ‘nature and build’, and refers to the essence of their practice as an ecologist.
The brand utilises deep gradients with vibrant blues and greens conveying trust and solidity. The simple line graphics are a combination of solid squares and organic rounded forms communicating the unity of the natural and built environment. The wordmark features a reversed colour gradient over their related words, showing that this client is able to think innovatively.
Together these elements communicate that the client is secure and authoritative, yet can also be adaptive to their surroundings. It shows their strength in navigating solutions, listening and responding.
